These cables feature Active chip technology which provides data speeds of up to 18 Gigabits from end to end but in a smaller, thinner diameter than traditional HDMI cables. Typically, the longer the distance, the heavier and thicker the cable but MicroFlex™ Pro AV/IT Extended Length cables maintain a lower profile and smaller diameter which makes them much less cumbersome, while making your installation faster and easier at the same time.

Active HDMI cables may not be fully compatible with some Apple® adapters. An Apple® adapter may not supply the sufficient voltage for the chipset in an active cable and it also may prevent bi-directional HDCP communication between source and display. Please use our passive HDMI cables for applications where an Apple® adapter may be used.
